A Clearer Business Identity Signal

Show customers that your business identity has been reviewed.

Beacon Verified confirms that Beacon reviewed designated evidence and found the business identity and operating claim consistent with our verification standard at the time of review.

Start Verification

What Beacon Verified Means

  • Beacon reviewed evidence of the business identity.
  • The accountable representative was confirmed.
  • Public contact information was checked.
  • Any category-specific requirement was reviewed.

What Beacon Verified Does Not Mean

  • A guarantee of quality, safety, value, or future conduct.
  • A substitute for a customer's own judgement or due diligence.
  • That Beacon delivered, supervised, or approved the business's services.
  • Something that can be purchased through a higher membership plan.

The Process

How verification works.

1

Claim your business profile.

2

Submit the required identity and business evidence.

3

Beacon reviews the evidence and may request clarification.

4

Approved businesses receive a time-limited badge.

5

Material changes or expiry may require a new review.

Evidence

Requirements depend on the business structure and category. Beacon may request business registration evidence, government-issued identity for the accountable representative, evidence of the representative’s relationship to the business, address or service-area evidence, a working business contact method, and a relevant licence or permit where the business claims a regulated service.

Private verification evidence is not displayed on the public profile.

You’ll need a Beacon business profile before applying. Create one free.

Trust should be earned through evidence, not purchased through a plan.
